Many of us know that physical clutter creates mental clutter. And I’m a pretty organized and clean person. My house is usually in order, and it’s important for my mental health that it stay that way. What I’m realizing that I’m struggling with is digital clutter. My computer, cloud, and phone organization are struggling, especially my photos. I need to set aside time to figure it out, but it’s daunting because it’s years of files. Whenever I dedicate time to it I barely make a dent. But I really need to make it a priority because I don’t want technology to impede my mental clarity. It’s supposed to be a tool of efficiency and efficacy, not stress.
Clean up whatever is messy in your life— it’s draining valuable energy.
